Hello, I'm Kellie.
Im a mum, wife, student, friend, sister, daughter, you name it. lol
I try very hard to have a good balance of everything in my life. But I dont always achieve it and some days I fail dismally, but I get dust myself off and try again the next day. I love the mantra "dont judge until you have walked a day in another persons shoes"
I seem to have my best ideas at night, I really believe its because my brain has stopped worrying about the kids, because they are fast asleep in there beds, lunches are made, bags are packed and my mind finally turns to myself and other things!
So I have my blogger app on my phone and I type away and add my ideas night after night from the comfort of my couch (snuggled up to my husband) or in the darkness if my bedroom whilst my darling husband happily sleeps away beside me!
It's a great way to do it, well until I sometimes fall asleep and drop my phone!!! Ha ha
But in all seriousness the main reason I started this blog was because back in 2009 I needed an outlet for my Mummy Struggles. I find writing therapeautic and when I put pen to paper it seems to help me sort it in my brain.
I also write a lot about my experiences with my children and their ASD to
1. help me work my way through it.
2. As a release of all the built up feelings it causes me
3. To share with people so that if they are in the same situation they may find some comfort in it.
I found in my search to get help for what was going on with my kids, I would come across soooo much information and I thought, well why not put it together for other people too.
Im a very open person and probably at times say more than I should which gives me foot in mouth syndrome. lol But my intentions are always kind hearted. So if you want a chat or have any questions then please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
So Who Exactly Am I?
Im a mum to 2 beautiful children and a wife to a wonderful husband. I wont give away my age, I would rather you be the age you look and feel.
I currently work, study and try very hard to have a good balance of everything in my life. I dont always achieve it and some days I fail dismally, but I get dust myself off and try again the next day.
I dont like to be judged and I like to encourage other parents to do the same.
I love the mantra "dont judge until you have walked a day in another persons shoes"
I hope you enjoy my blog and that if you dont learn anything from it, that you at least join me at having a good laugh. x

“The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something. Don’t wait for good things to happen to you. If you go out and make some good things happen, you will fill the world with hope, you will fill yourself with hope.”– Barack Obama
